An Interest in a Dutch Refinery Acquired
PJSC б¦ÆåÅÆ signed a contract to acquire a 45% stake in TOTAL Raffinaderij Nederland N.V. (TRN), a Dutch refinery, from TOTAL S.A. The Dutch facility is one of the largest and most technology intensive refineries in Western Europe.
б¦ÆåÅÆ Becomes 100% Owner of LUKARCO B.V.
Transaction involving acquisition of a 46% stake in LUKARCO B.V. joint venture from British Petroleum is closed. As a result of the acquisition the Company receives a 5% interest in Tengizchevroil joint venture which is developing Tengiz and Royal fields in Kazakhstan. In addition, б¦ÆåÅÆ secures a 12.5% stake in the Caspian Pipeline Consortium that transports oil from Kazakh and Russian fields to Novorossiysk terminal. Consolidation of LUKARCO B.V. assets strengthened б¦ÆåÅÆ’s positions, particularly in Kazakhstan and the entire Caspian region.
